TRANSPARENCY

Privacy and how it works

This policy describes the initial version of gopoker.now, a recreational poker game with play-money chips, no registration and no chat.

What we store

Your browser may save a random identifier and nickname in local storage so you can return to the same table after refreshing. The server temporarily holds rooms, chips and game actions in memory during play. We do not ask for your full name, email, password or payment.

Connections and security

The server handles the requests needed to play. Technical connection information, such as your IP address, may be processed by the hosting provider to deliver data and protect the service. Other players’ hidden cards are not sent to you before the showdown.

The online counter reports aggregate numbers of active connections and tables only. It does not disclose nicknames, cards, or room codes.

Advertising

The page reserves space for advertising, but no ads are active yet. Google Analytics is used separately for optional statistics, as described above. We will update this policy if advertising is enabled.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (G-N0RVV5S5R1) only if you accept optional analytics. It may process visit, device, browser and approximate region data and use measurement cookies. We do not send nicknames, cards or room codes to Analytics. You can change your choice via Analytics in the footer.

Service rules

gopoker.now uses virtual chips with no financial value. There is no real-money gambling, no prizes and no withdrawals. Rooms are temporary and may disappear when the server restarts or everyone leaves.

Additional information

The project owner should add contact information before official publication and update this policy whenever storage or advertising practices change.
